After much research, I decided to give the Ultimate Body Press Wall Mount Pull-Up Bar a try. I was eager to experience the versatility and effectiveness of this seemingly simple piece of gym equipment for myself. Here is my experience with it…

My Experience With The Ultimate Body Press Wall Mount Pull-Up Bar

This is a great mid-range pull-up bar for the price! It’s built sturdy enough for beginners or intermediate users like me. I can certainly tell you that I’ve put this bar to the test!

I have added a 40 lb vest and several bands pulling me toward the ground. My total body weight came to about 263 lbs, which is the most weight I’ve tested on this bar.

I took off the foam grips that came with the bar, then I attached fat grips onto the bar for increased difficulty. The bar is slick without the grips and the wall creeks every time I do pull-ups, but it’s not that noticeable.

There are three grip positions; overhand, parallel, and underhand grip positions. You can also attach all sorts of accessories to the pull-up bar to change how the pull-up bar is utilized.

For example – I love to loop pull-up assist bands to the bar for all sorts of pulling and curling exercises.
